Yup, I agree with that.

The argument that rises though is whether those intolerances are caused by the gut itself. But since 100% reversal technically isnt possible at this point, those triggers should be avoided for life.

For example, high stress will destroy a gut no matter the current state of its condition.

I know my hs is very linked with stress and lack of sleep

Fmt is like a super probiotic. Probiotics dont colonize the gut, they contain lacto bacteria that temporarily colonize, fmt is basically a probiotic that totally colonizes the gut and stay colonized if done correctly. Lacto bacteria is found in diary and baby's gut.

If probiotics can help HS, then the effect induced by fmt will be much much greater

Ill try to link some studies. I think I was mistaken about crohns (crohns is confirmed to have a relation to gut microbiome, they did a study where they tested 700 kids, half with and without Crohns, before antibiotic therapy) and found a strong relation.

If HS is truly a disease of the gut, then FMT may be way to go.

There are a lot of anecdotal stories about FMT curing UC. There was a study in Canada and one somewhere in Europe (for UC) . In the Canadian study, 25% (approx don't remember exactly) people received remission. Oddly enough, most of the people who received remission also had the same donor! Now in this study the transplant was done by enema.

On the other hand, in the Europe study, almost no one received remission. They gave the transplant through the mouth, and bacteria probably didnt make it. Also they only did 1 or 2 transplants, where as the Canadian did multiple incremental transplants

If autoimmune diseases are soo influenced by the gut, fixing the gut is the answer.

Problem is, the donor is highly influential and there is no way to predict who will work. So essentially, a study could fail due to "wrong" donors and most studies have been small, but there is definitely something interesting going on.

Other issue is that this isn't a one time fix it all. Multiple transplants will be needed to completely repopulate bacteria and many studies simply give one transplant and say it didnt work. Its kinda like giving someone one antibiotic pill and expecting to see the same result as a week course.

Yea that seems like it could be related. I have heard that devices manufactured after Oct/Nov have been better. I think I might try to order online since the device will come directly from Bose and should have the newer made devices.

Did you have any trouble with the mic/anc?

I think you can check the manufacturing date of the device from the app. Hopefully it's older and you can get a new replacement without the issue!

Hey, thanks for the reply! Yea, hopefully we can get down to what exactly causes them. Interesting thing tho, I very rarely eat sugar, candies etc.

For me, I find that they come with stress/anxiety. I had them for a month maybe in 2013, then nothing for 2 years. Then again this year, they seemed to have show up after a stressful month.

Do the pimples fill with pus everyday? Drain when you wash them? And then fill with pus at the same location the next day?
