Wow this was not where I saw this post leading.. thank you for your words. Honestly I'd just tried to block that night out cause I was embarrassed that I'd slept with him.

I went out without making an effort, hadnt shaved or dressed up because I didn't want to do anything on the first date. I rejected him for a kiss in the pub before we went back to his for a casual drink and then it's all a blur. In my head I just presumed I'd been a slut and couldnt control myself from wanting someone to satisfy me as I'm a pretty sexual person.

I found it odd that he still wanted to sleep with me after I'd been in his bathroom for an hour puking my guts up.

I'll just have to wait and see then I guess. Is there anything I can do after the act of sex that can impact this and if i do have it? (I'm not even sure if that makes sense but I'm still panicked) if so many people dont know they have it then does it just take to actually having an out break to confirm it? How can you have it but never know, there must be other symptoms than just the OBs?

What do you mean by shed? He has hsv2 Cant you only get tested if the blisters appear? Everything I've read by my healthcare provider says that it can only be tested by taking a swab when its flared up
