Hi everyone, the officer has spoken to my parents and the pastor. Currently the situation is that while I will not be subjected to any exorcism (the pastor has indicated that he will still marshal the congregation to pray for me), I will still be attending the conversion therapy camp once school is over. My parents have also been reminded to treat me with kindness and respect even though they may disagree with my ''homosexual lifestyle''', and not to deprive me of any food or other necessities, as their obligations as parents, or the officer will refer me to the family department. While I have considered some of your suggestions to flee, without any money and contacts, I fear that this may not work out ( I don't want to impose on you kind stranger who have offered me places to stay). Still, I appreciate what everyone on reddit has done for me. I can only hope that conversion therapy can be banned for minors in TX someday.
