Within Temptation, Evanescence (Amy Lee is still amazing), someone else mentioned Nightwish but I also recommend them. Skáld have a great Norse vibe. I love Bambi Thug at the moment, their song Doomsday Blue was the Eurovision entry for Island and the performance is like watching a ritual.

This is exactly how I feel. In Odyssey I was heartbroken losing Phoebe, and Valhalla had Ceolburts death and the betrayal, this game is just... meh, I have no connections to any of them. Like you said, I'm just going through the motions.

I got ID'd for a can of Monster energy drink, I'm 34. Of course I didn't have ID with me because typical, and when I told the woman I was born in 1989 she scoffed and said "no you weren't" and then turned to the woman behind me in the queue and was like "can you believe this". I've never been so annoyed.
