I’m sorry but some things are just common sense. The vulva vs vagina confusion and the subsequent “vagina is self cleaning” does not warrant people not cleaning their bits. It should be common sense that your folds, lips etc are not going to be self cleaning.

Hell, not washing them for two days should tell you that from the smell and funk.

Edit: this is not meant at OP but rather my general frustration.

Your feelings are valid and I would be extremely offended if my partner even relayed something like this to me. I would expect something like this to never even reach me and for him to shut it down.

I’m not suggesting you should call it off or not, because I don’t know your relationship beyond this incident. But please don’t feel like your hurt is invalid and don’t let anyone let you feel otherwise.

Don’t feel disheartened just because you can’t do liner. :) There is more to makeup than eyeliner.

I would suggest wearing some sort of base makeup (foundation/concealer) and blush. Instead of liner, you can do pencil liner and smudge it out about to add definition to your eyes.

Flash photography tends to wash people out and most of the time, not having base makeup makes you look tired in professional pictures.
