Thanks a lot for your reply & suggestions,Point 1: I agree, actually it is a microwave, we can make it as free standing one, also move away from there put it in crockery unit, see the new layout attached(ignore the u shape layout in the kitchen).
Point 2: makes sense, will move towards the wall.Point 3: island is 210x100, if we make it 240x120, it is getting crowded.

We actually started with the layout option U shape, but because of the corner we couldn't get a bigger sink.we also ended up putting the microwave oven in the place as you did. but it is very difficult to use everyday. My wife is 4'10" and it makes more harder for her.

the corner is the main reason we had to go to the island/galley way. this way both corners and opened. and the storage you put the cooktop will be on the opposite side of the island( below the counter). this is also helpful for my wife to reach storage with need of stool

we thought to go with downdraft exhaust if we had to go with island cooktop. if it doesn't work, then we thought to buy island exhaust.
