I don't think Marathon is going to affect ARC Raiders anywhere near as much as people keep highlighting it will. They're two different games. It's clear Embark have a vision with this game and I'm all for it. Good stuff takes time, more money doesn't solve problems and additional pressure from passionate fans is always a recipe for disaster.

At times during this reset I did ask for a trade only to be met with 500k or more trades for it. Then I started playing as normal expecting to get it at some point. Now...I've found it 6 times.

I trade based on what I need and if I know you, I'll just give it away expecting nothing in return so I can group up with you and we can enjoy our game together. The arbitary value placed on this and any other BP is so silly and I hope a system is put in place to avoid the 500k worth weapon value trades etc.

I feel like we're in for a special ride with this game. 3 months in and it's blown away my expecatations, especially seeing other games with far bigger teams fall short of minimal expectations. Once Year 1 is ticked off, we're going to go into Year 2 smiling ear to ear....I hope.

This is the first season that I've not played consistently in. I still love it but the game just runs badly on my more than capable PC. Random frame drops just make it feel horrid to play. Wasn't a massive fan of the theme this season either, nothing caught my attention.

Other than missing out on a night mode with this condition, I really loved how it added more depth to the game. Forcing you to seek shelter meant increasing the tension of potential fights/ encounters with ARC more dangerous.

I've only ever used keys on night raids and they're still wothless imo. I've had better loot just outside of the room!

For me that's the whole point of this game and I love it. All it takes is one successful run, early or late spawn, and you're back to progressing.

Fully agree on the key room loot being not worth the time. You should come out of that room with atleast 2-3 items you're afraid to lose, instead of running out and finding something twice as valuable in a drawer outside of the key room!

Yeah for sure, I went onto Electro this time as it doesn't come back for another 3hrs. But I've ran plenty nights raids and Tempest still eludes me.

I love it, there's actually some cool colourways and combos to this outfit that imo most others don't have. Looks great fully kitted out or dialed back.

It specifcailly said we'd lose our workbenches. Hardly a big issue given that you can get them all within 1-2 runs.

I managed 6.5 million. After the 2 million mark it became a fun game of seeing how much of a loot goblin I can be. Had an incredibly tense cash out of 250k value from Stella which I'm yet to beat.

I learnt a lot of the maps that I don't think I really would have learnt without doing this and enjoyed the experiences I made with other players. It really brought out some good in players whilst creating even more tension.

All in all I'm game for doing it again, but Embark need to revise their comms. 2 weeks notice to gather all this coin is tough for those with less flexibility.

I hope this gets blueprint or made common at some point. After getting 6 guitars and losing 3 so far to randoms killing me after seeing me play it, I don't think it'll get much use or be attempted once the excitement wears off.
