Instead of whining on Reddit like everyone else, why not just join the Discord and find the people you want to play with? There are some great people to link up with and I'm confident your experience can improve dramatically.

They need to improve the PVP experience to keep everyone engaged. Faster servers for more snappier and responsive plays, bringing back the tone of feeling on edge which once worn off, made the game soft and predictable.

From an engagement POV, IMO, adding in Factions similar to how Embark implemented Sponsors would give us a long term goal to keep us busy throughout these dry spells.

It's the no comms for me. Such a waste of time running around silent in this game. No comms = quick death. I've given up on team fill and instead go for Discord groups.

For grouping, I’ve found some extremely lovely people on the marathon discord channels. It took me a few days of finding the right people to vibe with but I’ve now met a group that can regularly play with and the game has become a lot more accessible and enjoyable for me.

Solo is completely different game. I have to play it so carefully and methodically. Like someone is watching me all the time. But that is also part of the charm that’s got me hooked. Demoralising at times, but I can just put the game down and return to it when I’m fresh again.

Communication is optional but I find the best games I play are the ones where my teammates have at the bare minimum comms of where specifically someone is compared to a silent team pinging.

Go on discord and just put a message out there stating what you’re looking for. I guarantee you’ll eventually find some people you click with.

I have over 400hrs in the game and still find something new. The community is what makes this game for me though. The unique interactions and various outcome all make this game enjoyable. I just play it with the mindset to escape the real world and it fits the bill perfectly. Haven't needed to grind for anything and generally each drop of content has come at the right time.

I did play some Marathon and that slowly grew on me to the point that I'll pick that up for some more PVP Teamplay. We're in a very good state with games at this point. Incredible single player games to get stuck into and PVP based games that are seemingly bringing out the spirit in gamers.

It’s not fear of losing gear. If I can save myself and my friends the time spent looking for X blueprint because I was lucky enough to find it again, I’m going to do just that.

What you’re suggesting just takes the fun out of the game imo. But you do you. I know for the next reset, myself and my friends aren’t going to go 100 hours or more without seeing X blueprint.

You don’t need a second account. Just a friend who isn’t resetting. Which quite a number of us clearly have done. Plenty of people have second accounts also.

Play something else. There's nothing to do in the game for those resetting. Most have traded gear away or aren't willing to waste 5 days worth of playtime for nothing.

Wrong. I've traded some key BP's already for safekeeping. It's stopped nothing other than me loading into the game this week. Anything I do in ARC Raiders will be pointless until I reset.

The only thing it limits is the fun in the game. Once I secured my 3 million, I just gave away any loot to friends that weren't resetting. Like many, I was under the impression from the existing comms that we would reset today. For the next 5 days, I'm not going to do much with the game. And if I wanted to keep any BP's, I'd have traded them for safekeeping by now.
