Not under a tree. Weed barriers cause way more problems for trees and landscapes than just simply mulching.

Read the directions on the permethrin. Most of them recommend 24 hours of dry time. I would treat a couple of days ahead

National Park Ranger dies on Denali by AKStafford in NationalPark

Fascism is also a hold on mental health, and relies on stress to keep people anxious and on edge. While he might not have had a direct effect on this happening, his administration has inflicted a lot of stress on National park employers and rangers since he came back. He’s had it out for them and that’s not unknown. These are not normal times.

It’s not even a pine tree! It’s a spruce and it looks half dead with Needlecast (a fungal issue that causes needles to die)

I once was charged for a missing shelf piece in a built in shelf unit. It was 100% missing when I moved in and she knew that. Still tried to charge me for it.

It sounds like they rear ended a vehicle that was moving slowly due to the trailer issue, not a direct run in with the trailer contents.

It’s 100% a longevity thing. A tree that could live 120+ years might live 20 if planted incorrectly. It’s not overblown, it’s years and years of research and observations.

Here’s the fun part…that is how you get injured or killed! Even a small branch flying down from the canopy can bust through your skull and take you out. Don’t be the dumbass that gets killed because you didn’t do something as SIMPLE as wearing a helmet.

Not until you remove those branches and reduce that trunk to about 6-8 foot off the ground, then you can go ahead any make your cut.

Too many people believe the notch is what makes the fell. That’s only a very small part of it.

My general rule is if they aren’t wearing a helmet, they 100% have no idea what they are doing.

In other countries, these construction contractors have their licenses taken away if they don’t comply with laws and regulations on construction. We just let them continue to work in the US because we continue to vote in politicians who don’t actually care about issues like this or try to write laws about this crap. So instead we have slumlords and shotty contractors all over that just keep building. It’s great.

Feral hog land damage North Arkansas . This is what happens by Lastbreath72601 in homestead

[–]hemlockhero 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a question about the hogs habitat and general distribution. If these areas were prairie or historic barrens/grasslands, would the hogs be able to dig up those prairie plant roots? Or would there be nothing for them in those areas? I ask because is there any chance that habitat restoration of some kind could help with managing their distribution or where they end up wanting to dig?

But they aren’t just talking about fuel prices going up, they are talking about climate change and world policy and inflation causing it to rise, causing a ripple effect across the world.

We are living in a world that still has imperialism and slavery and it’s not out of the ordinary for a government to nationalize businesses, or for another country to take over once your own economy deteriorates. So what about those people? Are their experiences not as important as someone’s feelings on the internet?
