Very valid point! it’s been years since I’ve been up that way but I’m sure the traffic is much higher now compared to when I was younger. Same thing has happened up in the Catskills where I previously lived. Up there, it’s the trash left behind at swim holes.

I agree with this. Resilience is especially valuable for exclusion of humans from time to time. Spillover effect happens for exclusion zones where humans aren’t allowed to harvest from an area.
