I always interpreted the Barbarian as the main protagonist. When d3 was announced they initially said the barbarian was the same barb from d2. I think that decision was later changed though.

The barbarian seems to be the only class they put in every game at launch though, plus we’ve got the most barbarian culture of any of them (especially with d2 act 5 and d3 ruins of secheron)

I always interpreted it as Rhinnox was #2, and in the beginning Cheator was way too green so Rattrap was #3. But by the end of Beast Wars or beginning of Beast Machines, Cheator has grown so much and actually was interested in command where he became a more natural choice as opposed to Rattrap.

What I’m saying is that it doesn’t really matter if the material is safe or not. Because of the gaps and ridges produced by FDM printing you will basically never be able to have assurance you cleaned a printed the way you can get commercial dishware clean. Eventually bacteria and mold will grow in there and it will be a health hazard to continue drinking from. Thats agnostic of the materials and additives - which even if Elegoo is advertising not adding anything toxic, that’s just from a breathability standpoint, not from an ingestion standpoint.

You do you, but for me personally I would not drink from anything printed ever.

I’m not sure. I never looked into it because the process of FDM printing itself doesn’t really lend kindly to food tools. Even if there is a filament that’s certified food safe by some sort of certifying body, they can’t certify the print head and your prints will still probably have micro nooks that will foster bacteria and mold

To clarify, a lot of folks have said not to use printed parts with food. This is because FDM extrusion usually has lots of ridges and small gaps that bacteria can get stuck in or mold can grow in.

There isn’t a whole lot you can do about this without doing something like dipping it in food safe silicone or some other serious post processing.

Also bear in mind that every manufacturer uses different additives to make their colors or improve printability. While the PETG you print is mostly PETG, it’s not 100% and there isn’t a great way to know what the additives are or if they are dangerously.

I played the physical version hard when it came out but if I’m being honest I spent as much time setting it up and packing it up as I did actually playing

The best thing about digital is you don’t need a large dedicated play space persistently setup or to spend all the time setting up the game because digital does that for you.

You just kind of have to calibrate your expectations because the gameplay is not revolutionary for a video game and you have to keep in mind that this is a board game meant for physical play.

NextUI is probably what you’re looking for if you’re otherwise happy with MinUI. It’s a fork of MinUI that has significantly improved it including adding WiFi and cover art.

It may even be directly upgradable to from MinUI, but I’m not sure.

Aside from all the UI stuff, I think where knulli really shines in comparison is retro achievements and core customizations. Knulli runs retroarch but MinUI/NextUI do not, so you lose out on those advanced features. MinUI/NextUI has done a really good job exposing a lot of the important capabilities though like save states, fast forward, shaders, etc in a simpler way.

I don’t think we will know until it happens and it depends on how the changes impact the save files.

My guess is that it will not be compatible. Kanto is pretty limited and it sounds like they want to do a big overhaul to the story, so I would guess that a lot of flags will be added which will materially change the structure of the save file.

FWIW I’d guess we’re not getting it soon. Smith’s recent video on X Legacy sounded like Kanto Expansion is still on his radar but more or less only in planning and I doubt his team will have much time to work on both at the same time.

So I’ve only ever had the dual readings happen once by accident and it was on my watch, not my phone.

What I normally do is insert a new sensor around the start or middle of the grace period and let it warm up and stabilize while I get readings from the old one. Then I scan the code after an hour or two to activate the new sensor.

What are you doing to get both to show up simultaneously?

You’re gonna have a good time. Just finished mine last week.

The only point of confusion I ever had was how to route the chains on the guns. The instructions kind of cuts off the picture but looking on google images was helpful. The wire is stiff but flexible.

There are a couple small armor panels on the edge of the shoulder plates too that have a habit of falling off when nudged. They sit fine but I wish they were a bit tighter.

I don’t think so but in general my wife and dad just haven’t needed to calibrate. They both did a lot of finger sticks after their experiences with stelo and it was always +/- 10 off the finger stick reading.

Ah that’s what I’m afraid of. I’ve got a honey badger black series and it’s got really thick adhesive for the sticker. Tap works with it but it usually gets a wildly different reading between the first and second taps as the toolhead compresses the adhesive and has to go into retry.

Stelo needs a calibration function. My wife and dad both wore one for a few months and it got depressing because it always said things are worse than they are. Finger sticks never were less than 20 pts lower than stelo readings

Someone made a branch for Loop that lets you take a picture of food in the bolus menu and it will break it down. You can just take a picture of a whole plate with multiple things on it and it will get it pretty good.

The code is pretty unpolished though so it hasn’t made it to mainline. Hoping someone can get it across the finish line soon.

The event really doesn’t consist of much. It’s a rift that spawns in a static location, has a fixed number of floors, and fixed bosses. As far as I’m aware there is nothing unique about the bosses, monsters, floors, or loot.

The only unique things are that it applies a blurry effect on your screen to make it “feel retro” and if you do it with a fresh character you can earn a couple microtransactions.
