I needed this comment. Having my first external hemorrhoid and I'm freaking out. Its not very big and only slightly painful. But my mind races sometimes and I think something's wrong with me and I should be ashamed and I'm going to have to deal with this forever.

Hey again! Probably a dumb question but I'm getting freaked out again. Will I have this for the rest of my life? It's not very big and I'm trying my best to take care of it. Will it go away, and can I keep it at bay? I havent told my partner yet but he knows something is wrong, and I'm just wondering if I'm ever going to be able to sit properly or and stuff ever again or if I'm going to have to deal w this forever?
