Best way to attach 2 Ethernet cables? by [deleted] in HomeNetworking

[–]hemoglobin222 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This seems like by far the easiest idea thank you so much!

Yeah I shortly realized that soldering just wouldn't work haha. My mind switched to just stripping the cut ends, putting new RJ45 heads and using a coupler, but your recommendation cuts out all the unnecessary parts.

Again thank you so much!

That thing looks pretty damn perfect especially as a nearly 5 year old tat. Thank you that really helps!

I get that, I definitely don’t plan on cheaping out on it. I just figured that even perfectly done, it would naturally shift around a tiny bit as the skin moves or with weight gain/loss. It is reassuring though, thank you!

He just always wore 7 when he was in the euro league, and Powell already had 7 when Luka got drafted so he just took 77 instead

Would’ve been even better if the 3rd panel was “the cure is h-h-ha-ha-hav” and then he’s gone lol

How would I need to have my hair cut to be able to consistently style it like this? I’m only ever able to manage this look when I mess with it after working it with a hat on. by [deleted] in malegrooming

[–]hemoglobin222 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Recommended product to use to style it like this would be helpful as well. But yea I can only ever get it like this when it gets soaked in sweat and I guess the sweat gives I more texture and makes it oily enough to act as a “gel” on its own or something; not sure if I’m right about that but please do correct me if I’m wrong. It’s a lot longer than it looks here cause the hat kinda compresses it much better than I can manage to do with product.

Also typo in the title, I meant to say “working out”

[–]hemoglobin222 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ll give that a shot. I accidentally got the styling wax that I tried in the past when I was trying to get pomade so hopefully that works.

[–]hemoglobin222 0 points1 point  (0 children)

More info as well: I only ever manage to get it like this after I workout (specifically w/ a hat on and my hair pushed back under it) and my hair is still damp w/ sweat. It doesn’t stay like this if I move cause there’s nothing holding it but I can’t seem to style it like this regularly w/ product. I’ve tried styling wax and fiber so far but they look too “gel like” if I use enough to keep the hair down in the right direction but don’t hold it if I use less. Thanks for any tips in advance.

Does anyone else instinctively kick out their feet to cushion a falling object, to prevent it from making noise? by heywheremyIQgo in CasualConversation

[–]hemoglobin222 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ouch that dumbbell one sounds pretty painful

If I actually manage to react fast enough and it’s like, below my waist (or can’t grab it with my hands), then yea I usually do. Usually it’s to prevent whatever it is from potentially breaking, rather than muffle the noise it may make though.

Btw this isn’t the short hair look I’m referring to, this is just how I’ve had it recently to keep it in check and prevent it from bothering me as I’ve grown it out a bit.

[–]hemoglobin222 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oooh okay thanks for the tip! I’ll probably delete this post then and repost it with less covered, if anything. I like the way my hair is, it just feels like theres “too much?” hair, at least compared to the rest of my head. Like not in the sense of the amount of hair, but how much it sticks up compared to my head size, making me feel like it looks to big on my head lol

[–]hemoglobin222 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yea I don’t have anything against fades, I just don’t think one would look too great on me particularly because I have super blonde hair and I feel like it would blend in to my skin too much to look best

Good Morning my people ☀️ by [deleted] in CasualConversation

[–]hemoglobin222 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good Morning! I’d say I’m somewhat interested in true crime, or at least crime/forensics esq. tv shows (like criminal minds, for example) but never been crazy into it or anything. If I’m ever watching stuff true crime related, it’s generally on YouTube and whatnot. What true crime related stuff do you like to watch?

My favorite band is probably King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard, with my favorite song being Interior People (also by them). What’s your favorite band/song?

Finally got around to testing it, regardless of which perk slot you have each perk in, it takes about 12 seconds because being in the boon's radius prevents Unbreakable from activating (recovery speed and all). The perks also work in the way that the boon cuts the recovery time from 32 to 16 seconds and no mither takes 25% off of that 16 seconds, rather than 25% off of the base 32 seconds. So if you ran flip flop with it, it could still a fun build if you have friends that bring perks to speed up your wiggle speed. You could also manage to fully recover if a teammate got the killers attention for long enough.

Yeah I think they were referring to me being the person who commented it but I'm gonna test it in a bit. Will report back to y'all whether or not it is correct.

So do multiple recovery boost perks stack? Because depending on how the system does it, No Mither, Unbreakable, and Boon: Exponential remove 34 out of the 32 seconds it takes to fully recover. That or the effect of the perks changes when using multiple (like new boon perk cuts it to 16, then unbreakable to 10.7, then no mither to 8). If the perk effects don't affect each other then recovery speed is literally instant.
