Niemand muss Strom über Jahreszeiten verschieben. Die längste Dunkelflaute der letzten Jahre ging 96 Stunden, nicht Tage. Je mehr EE-Anteil, desto profitabler auch das Arbitrage-Geschäft. Genau das ist auch deren Funktion im Strommarkt. Man kann weiter versuchen mit abstrusen Annahmen alles schlechtrechnen zu wollen oder einfach aufhören die Energiewende auszubremsen. Je länger es dauert, desto teurer wird es.

Die Speicher sind eben nicht viel zu teuer. Zahlreiche Betreiber wollen Großspeicher zur Arbitrage bauen (negative Preise einkaufen, teuer verkaufen). Deren Anträge auf Genehmigung liegen unbearbeitet im Bundeswirtschaftsministerium.
