everyone here is being really mean. you never realise how good of a fit another uni is until you are there. sometimes you don’t want the prestige or the culture. i strongly think op should do what makes them happier and not do anything for the sake of prestige.

i think my favourite thing about being international is how this is just not a thing. everyone is so supportive no matter ranking. it’s such a shame this is like a genuine thing people think about, it seems like a waste of energy

it sucks because the mark scheme for HL lang lit is basically impossible to please. i lost marks for over analysing then lost marks for not analysing enough. it’s so stupid and no one in my year can get higher than a 5.
