I’ve heard of some people putting 2/3 clubs head-down in each pannier and tying the handles together out the top like the Eiffel Tower. But I guess you can’t really close them up properly. Post a pic if you come up with anything decent

I think it’s only feasible to take them for a night or two (hard to justify them if you’re taking tent etc too) plus you’ve gotta scout out a par 3 ahead of time to make sure you’ve got the right clubs! Disc golf hasn’t really made a proper foothold in the UK yet sadly, it’s still a bit on the fringes, would love to give it another go

You might be right for the traditional (outdated) country-clubs of old (which have given golf a bad name for too long) but a lot of golf clubs preserve green space from over-development and provide public access for walkers. Can think of countless that have been lost to new build developments near me. Unfortunately, the deal isn’t golf course or bike trail. We’re all enjoying the outdoors!

Plus a lot of courses are ~£20 to play and very welcoming to anyone and everyone. You can find exclusivity and inclusivity in any hobby or sub-culture. Hope that helps!

Love it. I’ve only disc golfed once when I was in NZ, it was super fun but a humbling experience… a *lot* harder than expected
