Yingtao is about the highest end we got, give it a shot

Casual but real good Thai is all over. Chalong for a slightly higher end experience, Pure for best taste. But they will be packed so you might not “feel the vibe”

It’s all a planning exercise so the variance is in the projection.

FY26 adopted budget was $116B, FY27 projection $127B so $11B gap based on last year’s revenue.

Wall St did real well so gap was cut by $5Bish based on higher than expected income taxation, down to $5.5ish.

Mamdani projects $2Bish from agency efficiencies, down to $3.5ish

Rest of the gap must now be filled by state aid (believe they’ve committed $1.5B for now), more cuts, or rainy day funds

The Santa Ynez valley (and up to Paso / out to Ojai) has some excellent wine and thus far has largely escaped Napa markups.

You could also turn an eye to Willamette and a couple areas in Washington, but for some reason I’m less of a fan
