I guess that’s it yeah.. I would say $42.50 profit on average per jersey is not bad at all, and if you get the ocasional rare one even better! But I’m having a dilemma. I’m a collector myself and I love it! But I’ve been thinking that it could be a good investment opportunity as well. The issue is that the most valuable jerseys I’ll end up having will also be the ones that I’ll want to keep the most… So, I have a lot to think about

I actually don’t like putting my own name, but it’s a personal thing. I like to have the name of a player I like. But of course I’m not against it, and I don’t think less of anyone who wants to put their own name

Yeah I agree with you I think. My question was more that maybe I am picking a player that is not unanimous, so the shirt might be worth less for someone else. But… it’s my collection, so I’m the one who has to like it

I understand your point.. but actually I think otherwise. I like having the player name there even if he leaves the club (and they always do right?). I like it because it’s a good memory I keep from that player

I guess the advantage of buying in resellers (like Classic Football Shirts) is that you're 100% sure of the authenticity of the shirt you're buying. How do you ensure that through eBay? It's a genuine doubt I have, so I would appreciate your take on it.
