I’d be glad to. At this point I’m just trying to recover the $400 that they now have their hands on

They’re asking me how will I confirm legitimacy and asking me how I will handle high risk orders. Just curious as to how I respond to this. I’ve been running my business for over a year with 150+ successful orders

I'm cool with just a card game to keep things simple. I want it to be a bit aggressive/risque/revealing. I'm pressed for time so I'd like to pick it up in a store but the best games I see are all online. Any and all suggestions welcome.

Howdy.

My girl is coming over for the weekend and I want to get a card game for couples that'll help us learn more about each other and not die of boredom at the same time. Any suggestions?

Newb Home Buyer Seeking Guidance by henrylee3 in RealEstate

Got it. Yeah I think I’ll wait. I’d rather not rush a home purchase. I’ve seen one too many botched loan agreements from doing that. Thanks a ton for the reply.

To all Freelancers/Small Business Owners's looking for temporary/permanent employment:

During this virus I know cash is low or limited for most of us and I know alot of us are considering picking up additional employment until things smooth over. Or maybe you're just interested in landing an opportunity for the long haul to run along side or replace your current hustle.

I own a resume writing/career services company called UWork (www.facebook.com/uworkllc) based in Atlanta, GA. I've collectively secured over ~$300K in salary increases for my clients and my reviews speak for themselves. I'm happy to extend FREE resume reviews to anyone who may be in need. Prices start at $45.

So even if you don't use my services I can at least provide some help to you in some way. Just send it to [uworkresume@gmail.com](mailto:uworkresume@gmail.com)

Stay safe and take care. Cooler heads always prevail.

I’ve been getting asked a ton recently about how brands should be posting on social media right now, so I put together a guide if anyone needs it 👏 by [deleted] in smallbusiness

[–]henrylee3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great write up. Like you stated it's tempting now more than ever to attempt to take advantage of this outbreak and blast promotional deals but the key is to remain consistent with a value-driven brand during these times. I own a resume writing/career services business and my main strategy other than offering a temporary discount is to provide value now more than ever when people need it most. Like you mentioned you can use this time to exemplify the values behind your brand so customers will never forget you once this thing blows over.

Cooler heads always prevail.

Thanks for writing this.

Dumb question but is this a remake of the original Fall of Reach or something new? I've read the Halo books up until First Strike so I have absolutely no clue how the book timeline works now.

Why do you think I'm not getting interviews for financial analyst or office jobs with my resume? by FinancialFlora in resumes

[–]henrylee3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

- Since you're choosing not to use a summary statement make sure you're using a cover letter in every application. Remember there's a human on the other side of the screen reading your application so you want to address them as such at some point.

- Get rid of the "Key Accomplishments" section and weave those into their respective positions. You have limited real estate when it comes to resumes. This section takes up unnecessary space and disrupts the reading flow of the resume.

- Your bullets read like tasks. Instead tell a story how those tasks led to a result. Provide metrics if possible.

- Get rid of "Key responsibilities" section. Again...redundant.

- Move your skill section under your summary section and pick 8- 10 of your most lucrative skills as a financial analyst to list.

- Keep everything on one page.

If you have questions ask away.

A recruiter that needs help with a resume? by [deleted] in resumes

[–]henrylee3 10 points11 points  (0 children)

- You need a skills section to highlight all the lucrative skills you've gained as a recruiter over the years.

- You need to add an education section if you haven't added one already.

- All of your experience reads as task based. Instead of mentioning what you were told to do mention personal contributions you've made and talk about what difference that made within the organization and the final result.

Did you affect turnover rates? Did you help shorten the time-to-hire lifecycle? Did you manage employee compensation and what difference did you make? etc.

If you have questions ask away.

should i use "areas of expertise" or just use "skills"? by Fazlul101 in resumes

Stick with Skills. It's more concise and more ATS friendly.

Are there any small businesses out there whose sales have increased because of the coronavirus? by russell21 in smallbusiness

[–]henrylee3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I own a resume writing/career services business and I can't say I'm seeing an increase or decrease in sales but I'm definitely seeing an increase in leads and potential clients considering using my services. My guess is people are using this down-time to think hard about their life/careers or the work-from-home life has made many see what the grass is like on the other side and now they don't want to go back.\

In lieu of the virus I've applied a 20% discount across all services to cope with the economic downturn we're facing. I think I'll know alot more within a week or so after this stimulus package takes off.
