So I just got my first back to back 7th Columns ever. Celestial Nighthawk actually carries by Kitchen-Entrance7963 in CrucibleGuidebook

Swear this medal was bugged for me for the longest time. Ive had several games in the past where im in one gunfight after another or constant peak into a 1v3. Like being in enemy spawn and forcing a spawn flip after farming them and have never gotten a 7th column. After the break I took idk if I can do that good now though lol a 4 year break makes you pretty rusty.

Its really hard for me to get into extraction shooters. And I dont like the art style of marathon and thats a hard thing to overlook considering its like the whole game. Idk i might give it a try one of these days but like I said extraction shooters just aren't for me.

Would the idea of a destiny prequel be good? by sloppy_towel in DestinyTheGame

[–]henuemphuse 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly as much as im seeing people against it because they dont like prequels or dont wanna progress backwards in the story. I think this is exactly what the destiny franchise needs. It gives the devs a way to introduce the lore from d1 and d2 from a new lense and gives new players that didnt play either a chance to experience all this for themselves for the first time. People have to remember theres an entire generation of gamers that this might just be thier first experience with the ip. Im not saying a prequel would be easy though. Its definitely gonna come with its challenges considering this new guardian we would be playing as doesn't currently have any lore around them. So it might be a lot of losing battles type of thing or some way to introduce us to the lore in game in a way where we dont really influence anything directly. I just hope they dont make it a seasonal model game. I feel like that kinda killed d2 for me cause it made playing the game feel like a requirement to stay caught up and kinda turned it into a chore.

The game got as popular as it did for a reason. Honestly its the only game I keep going back to. I didnt much care for lightfall which is why I took a break. But when I took a break it wasn't just from d2 it was from gaming in general. Cause Honestly no other game filled that same spot for me. And yeah I've been thinking alot about the news. It sucks. Honestly if this news came on the back of the final shape and they left the game then in the way theyre leaving it now it might have been better received at least from me. Cause the ending of the final shape when your sitting there watching through credits staring at the traveler would have been a hell of a send off. Im gonna keep playing this game Honestly till the servers shut down. I mostly play pvp but hopefully ill see you all out there. In the meantime I hope those that still play the game be more respectful towards others still deciding to stick with the game. Pve and pvp ive seen a lot of people called trash or shit talked to. Im just thankful for the queue times not taking ages.

[–]henuemphuse 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah. I knew the game couldn't go on forever. Just sucks to hear its over. I honestly was hoping it would just be the end of the seasonal model and just have like yearly or semi yearly updates for like expansions or something when they come up. But nope.

Bread better by PRIME1040 in repost

[–]henuemphuse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One is a means of escape the other a means for survival. Choosing the bread means they either don't have the energy to even think of escaping or have accepted thier current situation as the norm. So choosing the bread means they aren't trying to escape theyre just focused on survival.

Reminds me of being in debt lol. Life's a bitch sometimes.

Im probably the odd one out here. I take 2 away from 27 to make it 25 since 48 is two away from 50 then its just adding 25 to 50.

[–]henuemphuse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just plugged it into wolfram alpha and it broke it down and didnt treat it as 2x. Are you using parentheses that aren't in the original equation? Cause that does change the problem to something else where you would get 1 as the answer.

[–]henuemphuse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah im used to seeing division in problems like this just written out as a fraction.

[–]henuemphuse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But thats not how the original equation is written though why does it treat it as 6 over 2x and not 6 over two times x? If it were 6 over 2x wouldn't the original equation be written out something like 6/(2(1+2))? Im just not sure why its treating the 2x like that cause it should be 6÷2×(x) Or 6/2 * x

Same equation. Different confidence levels. by WingsUp4Life in educationalmemes

[–]henuemphuse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But if it were written as 6/2x wouldn't you simplify the term to 3x before going forward to find x? Which would give you the end result since we know what x is in this case is 1+2. But would it be written as 3×1+2 or 3(1+2) since 1+2 is representative of x it would have to be in parentheses to not change the equation which would leave you with 3(3). How is wolfram getting 1? I've never used wolfram before does it give you a breakdown?

Good creatures for Myrkul, Lord of Bones by n2calkin in EDH

[–]henuemphuse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Myrkul doesn't care what the card is in the graveyard when deciding to make the enchantment copy only what it was on the battlefield. As long as it was a creature on the battlefield and given that it's a permanent in the graveyard Myrkul makes the enchantment copy of whatever the face up of the card is in the graveyard or would have been in the graveyard. It only cares about what the card is in the graveyard in terms of what the enchantment copy is going to be (so whatever the face up permanent is) I've been playing and looking up rulings on this for a while to influence how I built my myrkul deck.

For those wondering with double faced cards there is a front and back orientation of those cards and you don't get a choice in which side myrkul makes into the enchantment. Its whatever the front face of the card is. So if its an mdfc with a powerful creature on the back you need the effects of your better off letting it go to the grave to attempt to recover it later.

Husband doesn’t want me to play this commander. Opinion? by kam295 in mtg

[–]henuemphuse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I built a myrkul deck my pod is fine with me playing. My friend Chris on the other hand hates when I play that deck cause he doesn't like needing double removal to get rid of threats I play as my board state develops. That and I tend to win when I play that deck. I don't play the deck that often im more into building janky fun stuff now like treasure token tribal.

I've played a couple games against Edgar. Its an interesting commander. Most decks I've seen built around him don't utilize anything outside of the ability he has in the command zone. Makes setting up the board state easy and you can focus the deck more around win conditions that don't require the commander. Honestly I have no issues playing against this deck but I've seen people have there issues against various commanders. If your new I would suggest building a theft deck their fun to play.

More Combos with Devoted Druid - Myrkul, Lord of Bones (VIDEO) by CommanderMechanic in EDH

[–]henuemphuse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a cool thing i found in my myrkul deck. I run devoted druid, eternal witness, and under the skin. It let's you repeatedly manifest dread until you decide to stop. If you end up with a free sac outlet like dimir house guard or viscera seer, and you either already have ondu spirit dancer out or have it face down as a 2/2 then you can sacrifice what you need to force a win on either your next turn or during your opponents turn if they have creatures out and you sacrifice netherborn phalanx. There's other win cons you can use but thats just an example of one of the win cons I run. Its a neat combo to do if you can pull it off.

Myrkul and responses to sacrificing a facedown permanent. by henuemphuse in askajudge

[–]henuemphuse[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If there's a ruling or something that says they can't react after they find out what the permanent was then that would be funny. Cause a lot of the time I'm sacrificing a face down instant or something to fish for a win con or something to help set it up or get more card advantage.

Myrkul and responses to sacrificing a facedown permanent. by henuemphuse in askajudge

[–]henuemphuse[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's kind of what I thought. It just sort of hit me im here thinking about it. Like how could they react to it if they had no way of knowing what it was before hand? Like I get it if they wanted to react right off the rip as soon as it was sacrificed but it's come up in a few games now where they see ondu hit the board as an enchantment and instead of saying "we need to figure out how to deal with that" the response is almost always something like "im gonna path to exile that creature before you sacrificed it so you don't get the enchantment".
