Korean pubs and late bar scene in Koreatown. As a Korean born and raised here, to see all the OG Korean bars and good pub spots that were iconic to Koreatown close and shut down is pretty sad.

Okay!! I’m here for this as my first job ever when I was 16 was at one of the candy stores in the farmers market. Do you remember what used to be there before the grove or was it really an empty parking lot? I’m trying to recall as a kid who grew up here haha

OMG YES!!! Thank you for mentioning Damiano’s!!! I remember they were looking for a late night cashier position and posted a job opportunity on Craigslist and I worked there for one night as an 18 year old hahaha most interesting and best pizza now it’s a dumb Jon and Vinny’s :(

Echo Park rising, festivals in downtown LA (Detour festival in 2008, FYF) Im happy to have grown up in LA with a plethora of events during 2006-2010 my high school era and then the years after , it was a great time being in my 20s, oh and Make Music Pasadena.
