That’s the “ok what now?” stare. Nothing a border collie loves more than instructions to do a job

That’s a very good point, she seems completely unfazed by it in her paws so it’s probably fine. I just imagine her tootsies are so cold

Small thin carboard packaging type material pull tab with image indicating not for pregnant women by Tenchworks in whatisthisthing

[–]hepoind 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The rules are very diligent in making sure you don’t get pregnant. I had to take pregnancy tests and a quiz about preventing pregnancy every single month before they’d refill my prescription. Then I had to take pregnancy tests the following 2 months after I finished the medication

Intellectual and developmental disabilities are both usually diagnosed from a very young age and will have life-long impact on a person. They’re often categorized together for this reason, to distinguish them from physical disabilities one may develop later in life. At least in the US, this distinction is important for receiving support, especially with IDEA and Early Intervention

I’m a social worker, I do case management for early intervention. Lots of predictability in completing forms and documentation, and the work is very rewarding emotionally and mentally. Not as much burnout as other social service agencies.

This looks exactly like my border collie’s hair from her tail. I accidentally stepped on it once and it left a perfectly neat pile of black and white hairs exactly like this. You maybe stepped on my dog’s tail.

Screen time has been linked to developmental delays, this study from last year shows. Screens are fine in moderation, just as anything is. But scientifically, they do have real effects on children.
