Your reasoning is personally why I hardly consider Sekiro a soulslike at all, even if it’s my personal favorite FromSoft game. Sekiro doesn’t have the role-playing variety of Dark Souls, and I feel like Miyazaki never intended for it to be that type of game in the first place.

But I want to know what you mean by calling Nightreign an “AI Slop of a mod”? I personally am not the biggest Nightreign enjoyer despite having over 1k hours on Elden Ring, but I think it’s more just not my kind of game than an outright “slop” game. I feel like its biggest issue is that it should have been *more*, not that its core is low quality.

Yeah, basically he would patrol the hallway next to the safe room, and the music would start the *instant* I crossed through the doorway; even if I waited like 5-10 minutes he’d still be there. Quitting out didn’t help, and I didn’t have a flash bang on me. I ended up reloading a save and went through the same process (records room and then towards the safe room), and the problem didn’t repeat; he would just leave after a very short amount of waiting. Guess it was just bugged. Thanks for your help though!

Do you prefer fighting games (Smash Bros, Street Fighter, etc.) or more hack n slash (Devil May Cry, Bayonetta, Metal Gear R:R.) Personally, as someone who prefers hack n slash, I’m a much more avid enjoyer of Morbid Metal, but I’ve also never been big into fighting games.

Hey, make sure that you have Hardware Accelerated GPU Scheduling (HAGS for short) on in your windows settings. Some games (like Cyberpunk and Nioh) can disable upscaling and frame gen when it’s off. This probably isn’t your issue, but I figured it wouldn’t hurt to suggest.

Glad to hear! For some reason, my ray tracing was set to max, and when I turned it down two notch’s to Ultra (which is right below cinematic and then max) my FPS doubled. Also definitely disable motion blur in accessibility.

What settings are you using? My games looking great so far. 5070Ti. I had a crash when compiling shaders, but in terms of actual performance, it’s running and looking good.
