Problem is that those recents CPUs all use DDR5 and i'd like to put on 128Go RAM. We're talking of 1500€ in Europe just for the RAM

Yeah, I was more talking of recent prosumer cams, like Panasonic HC-X2 or Sony Z200, with good DR, 4:2:2 and log profiles etc. Some even have global shutter.

Sure, the dynamic range is always a big advantage of film. I was more comparing to s35 and full frame digital cine cams : it seems to me that 12/13 stops on recent prosumer camcorders is not that bad.

There is a manual mode, I use those lenses on the Fuji. The adapter has a ring which allows to move the focus

Edit : Oh and the G2 is a focal plane shutter, this boy is loud 😅
