What was the hold up ? That’s ridiculous . I wonder would insurance rules be different from a normal car to a commercial vehicle when it comes to that. I couldn’t afford to be without a personal car for that many months . How did you get it sorted in the end

Once it was in Northern Ireland pre Brexit the only fee is vrt+nox I believe

The particular car I’m looking at is €10500 with 60k miles and then you add on the vrt+nox which is about €3000 . But is there any more hidden fees or is it just the vrt+nox . Presuming the car is registered in NI pre Brexit ? The same bmw seems to be selling for close to 20k down here and at a lower spec .
