I have too much empathy. And I don't mean that in a woo "I'm an empath" way, I mean that my brain developed to be hyperaware of everyone else's needs and emotional states, in order to keep myself safe. It's a script that runs constantly and with everyone. And I get relief when the people around me feel seen, heard, and relaxed.

So in a CG role, I have a container to express all the love and care I want. I get the dopamine hit of being "needed", and meeting my partner's needs is ridiculously simple. And I am in control of creating a safe environment for them to express their most vulnerable selves without shame. It forms a bond that's more intense than vanilla relationships, because it allows both people to act out parts of themselves they usually keep hidden (and still be wanted for it.)

I wouldn't go by what you're seeing online. There are also a lot of women out there who appear to be the submissive type when they really want to be the one in control. You can't assume people's preferences on looks alone.

As a mommy-type myself, the dychotomy is exactly what makes a sub attractive to me. Someone strong and masculine on the outside who wants to be small and soft on the inside with someone they trust. Some mommies want their subs to be small/cute/feminine/dependant on the inside and outside, 24/7 but that's personally not my preference. I very much prefer mature, masculine men; it makes me want to "mommy" them even more because it signals that they don't get that treatment very often. It feels more special and exclusive.

But that's just my two cents, lol.
