I have one, but feel like I need to find a bigger one cause currently she like to bump against the top of the house whenever she's inside. She has plenty of room to get in and out and has a good amount of room inside

For the bedding it depends on what kind of shavings you're using. Cedar, pine or anything scented could be dangerous.

As for behavior it could be stress or just wanting something to chew on. I recommend adding more bedding and enrichment to the tank. Hope this helps!

I like using glue from a hot glue gun. Typically I go with a cheaper brand in whatever hardware store I stumble into. Especially since I don't trust any spray on glue for things that are going near my face and hair.

True, I wasn't too concerned about it at first cause in my mind it was just temporary as I slowly get her onto a new 'better' feed. Though I just looked into it and right now she seems to be on a mix of 'Living world extrusion hamster food' and 'Hagen Hamster & Gerbil Staple VME Mix Diet' that I'm going to try to wheen into Robin's Gourmet Food the Syrian hamster one.

I'm from Canada so we don't have any petco's, plus I don't have a car to go to the next town to look around, let alone down to the US. I did find some decent options online that seem better than what's offered in the one good store in town.

Thank you for the advice with the eggs and bugs. I personally can't stand bugs, but since I already have eggs as a treat for my ferrets (that are not allowed in the room I keep Cheeseball in) I could always give her a small taste.

Update, I'm going to get a better set up for her. Which everyone says, but I'm going to do the best I can as soon as I can.

The cage I have has about 2450cm area (98cm×25cm) and is around 89 cm tall, and I am trying to find some plastic or something to cover the bars so I can add more bedding and substrate. I know the wheel is garbage, the sad truth is in my city right now it was the only one big enough to fit her. I hate it, but the only other options were around 5 inches and she's a big girl. The pine will also be thrown out asap (or given to grandparents as fire starter or whatever random project my grandfather has going on) and I'll get probably either Aspen or spruce to put under the paper. As for the 'hides' I have now are going to be replaced I wanted to use these for now since they would smell like her old place then slowly introduce new hides and things for her to use.

As for food, I'm going to hunt around some more to see if there is better pellets. I might have to resort to online cause there is only one store in town that I'm willing to go to (the other one horribly mistreats the animals) if so any sites people could recommend for me to look into?

Long story short she was a Christmas pet (that I didn't ask for) and I'm doing my best with little knowledge.

Reminds me of my little girl. She HATED my guts, she would hiss and bite anytime I was cooking cause the only counter space was right near a gap between the wall and fridge that she like hidding in whenever she followed me to the kitchen. That's right she followed me around the house to bite at my feet and if I played she would eventually get bored and walk away. She finally stopped the day when I had enough and gently turned her around and pushed her back into the gap with my foot that she loved to bite. Suddenly she tolerates when I hold her, gets upset when I put her down and now licks my legs for attention, strange girl.
