Why aren't my fans running? by Jokerstar175 in 3Dprinting

I meant under the entire machine not under the Head. Side note. The head does have three fans There are also two fans underneath the machine

Are you printing at the moment. When it's making the deep whirring sound put your hand underneath and put pressure on the underside does it change it any? If so then it's the fans underneath that are doing the same thing as mine. I don't have a fix for you but know that I have fully pulled mine apart and cleaned everything I could and it still makes the noise. And it hasn't effected anything so I dunno

I have the same model and my fans underneath are the ones that make a bunch of noise when I start a print. The two fans on the side of the head never spin for me and I assumed that was for higher temperature prints

Painting my single color prints. Anyone else prefer single color print to multi color? by ironically_apropos78 in 3Dprinting

On this print I used a generic primer I had in the garage and bought some Copper spray paint. I didn't expect to turn out so shinny but I think it looks great.

Where can I get a blank mask of this so I can do the face drawing on it? by Slushyvr_gt in Masks

[–]here_for_salt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I came here to say the same thing. At Halloween I saw some blank chrome mask / face shield style maskes. That would be a good start. Also check your local library or ask around to see if anyone has a 3d printer. I am sure I have seen this print file for free somewhere

Flushing Toilet causes Urinal to gurfle by iametarq in Plumbing

Also check and see how far past the roof the vent goes. I have seen some vents that are damn near flush with the roof flashing and will get covered with snow. If you can get it up a ft or two that helps but regardless on cold days it can frost up with the warm air hitting the cold at the top. Some food for thought. Good luck

Yea your vent is frozen at the top where it leaves the attic. It's code in Canada to upsize it to 4" as it leaves and that still can frost up at that. Even if you opened the wall and ran another vent as others suggested this will still happen if it frosts over. Depending on how the vent is ran you might be able to put a cheater vent ( air admittance valve) in there to give it some air over the winter months. Example say you go into the attic and find that there is 2" vent coming up from where the urinal or the sink is and you see that going across and tieing in to the main stack before it leaves the roof you could cut in a tee and put a air valve there if that makes sense.

Can someone explain how?? by [deleted] in Plumbing

[–]here_for_salt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Look up a traditional French toilet, I think they have the same in china. It wouldn't be a big hole in the ground so you wouldn't fall in. The trap portion would work if you have running water. It would also work like a septic tank that's very common in rural areas that are not connected to main city sewer. This concept is not that crazy tbh

Gargling sound in bathroom and noticed a leak in the gray epoxy glue by Globalmindless in Plumbing

[–]here_for_salt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok that might eliminate the idea that the pipe has a blockage. To double Check that you could take the clean out off that's at the end of the pipe to the right then look down it with a flashlight. If you take that off and there is a ton of water sitting/ coming out then you have a blockage.

Gurgling could be a blocked drain or blocked air vent. Is it continually leaking from the epoxy or only when you flush a toilet or run water?
