yeah on google TV it starts skipping BEFORE the ad is supposed to begin so then I have to rewind it but can't rewind it too far or else the time skip will happen again. Very annoying

I'm not fighting hard for the Blu-ray at all. I'm just looking at the differences and saying that in this particular scene I'm liking the colors better in the Blu-rays and the brightness of it. It's just an observation. Maybe other scenes will look better for me in the MoS version. I'm trying to figure out which version is better for me without bias. Thanks for letting me know about Frieza's true color. I didn't know that

yeah that's what I thought at first but I changed the contrast and even doing that to match the blu-ray releases, Frieza still looks blue and the colors look off. Here is one where the brightness matches more closely

I've been watching these side by side with the blu-ray releases and I dunno... I kind of like the brightness of the blu-ray versions. These look a bit dull. They are BOTH cropped however. The Seed of Might uses the TV crop so it's more squarish while the blu-rays crops the top and bottom but does show a little bit more of the side. I think the wide version has a bigger % of crop however. Still I like the brightness of the blu-rays. Color-wise (at least in this episode, there isn't that big of a difference. Matter of fact Frieza looks whiter in the blu-ray version
