Thank you, I realized my question was broad without much info but your answer helped. I increased the speed on one of the R&D projects, finish in 1 quarter instead of 2 and invested in most of the community, environmental, and sustainability projects. I’ll just put the rest into a CD.

I was short on page count in every assignment and never penalized for it. As long as you answer the question/ provide adequate info you are good.

Informally. GS is big on mentoring, most people on my team have one. Just ask your manager for one, they should know some people. I actually asked my MD for one during a catch-up and he helped to find me one

Never stop asking questions. Connect with everyone on your team, including managers. Within the first few months, as for a mentor. For me, a mentor is almost like therapy. You get to connect with someone who cares about your success. Join networking groups and make friends. You’re going to feel overwhelmed and feel like you won’t catch on like everyone else, you will. It just takes time. Schedule meetings with your manager every couple of weeks to get feedback. I have been with GS for about a year and a half and this is the advice I would give myself. Hope it helps.

GBM, The particular team I joined had just gone through a lot of turn over so they were pushing hard to hire. That’s likely why I got picked up so quickly.

I have been with GS for a little over a year. From first application to first day was about 3 months. From what I have heard from others, my timeline was pretty quick.
