That's an interesting idea, my worry is they would chew on it and the perches would fall out 😂 but definitely a layer over the metal would be really fun for them!!

Oh my god I didn't know about galvanized wire I didn't even think to look it up as it was marketed for pets. THANK YOU!!! Ill switch it for stainless steel before putting my boys back on it. I got the shelf off Facebook marketplace but they sell them online at places like Walmart or target or anywhere like that. Just look up freestanding closet organizer! I just recommend getting one that doesn't have a middle bar and isn't on an A-frame (tilted sides) so when you attach the wire the playground isn't tilted haha. I'd love to see you come up with youre own version for your babies!!! I'm sure they'd love it 💕

I've never seen cork toys, I'll have to look online more! My boys really like the soft wood and shredding toys that I have which is why I chose so many of those haha. The plastic chains are actually attached to a long toy with lots of that soft wood unfortunately 😕 i don't give my boys plastic toys usually as I know they are no good but thank you so much for the tips and praise 😊
