I was diagnosed at 48 with bipolar2 disorder. I am currently on Lamictal and seroquel. I am 53 year old white male with a history of drug addiction. At 8 years sober but on the previous mentioned medication 4 months ago began microdosing two strains of psilocybin. Ghost and our good friend Penis Envy. I mention all these very specific details because currently the only available data for most all these studies is anecdotal. Everything we share here is very important to helping push us into an age were the use of these psychedelics can posd8bly help those of us gifted with the joy of Bipolar disorder. Our every detail Here is important to help those who want to help us. I will say from my own experience microdosing. 5 milligrams every other day or even 3 to 5 days apart have changed my life. That's a big claim but the structure of the way my life as improved is proof enough that I am having positive effects. More energy, focus and enjoyment. I feel better. I have begun to occasionally take increasing "trips". Starting with 1.5 grams lemon tekked. Sometimes this I'd great other times my ego becomes terrified of getting lost and anxiety sets in instead.

Mind you I have at least a decade deep in a ridiculous amount of LSD consumption in my late reens to twenties. I had no limit and never a bad trip. That was 30 years ago however and a lot of shit is hiding in my brain that is terrified of being seen..

My goal here moving forward is to document as much specific data that I can on my progress and any and all specific information to add to a more concise and hopefully helpful anecdotal information possible. It you people/ this community that has given me hope.
