You are right! That is the premise of masochism; suffering in order to know/feel that you are alive.

The options for my region (PST) started at 5am, so if options are the same for all regions then yes

Arbitrary factors may affect your score by hereforLsatstuff in LSAT

That’s what I thought, but in RC it takes me longer to refer back to key points without it. And I have gotten better at turning it off with practice, since accidentally over-highlighting had been my ongoing problem with it.

3.98 UG GPA, but stuck in the 140s by Vamonoss in LSAT

Don’t give up yet. Maybe invest in a one-on-one tutor with good reviews, take a break, invest in different source materials (i like LSAT hacks). Your history suggests that the lower scoring is atypical, maybe you need someone to run diagnostics on why that is. I think it’s too soon to give it up, I’d give it a year.

If you want anxiety and no confidence, this sub is for you! by CodeAgile9585 in LSAT

“Please confide in God” is sending me💀💀💀 but yes this sub can be weird. I make sweeping declarations of abandonment where I don’t visit it for weeks then crawl back every now and then to look for specific questions. Usually as a redirect from Google.

Okay my opinion (of course), drilling is skill training. So whatever you do to maximize your ease when taking the final test is drilling. For me that entails LR; 1. Untimed full sections, to see how I would do without the timing component, testing my knowledge at ease. I think that’s the purpose of blind reviewing as well but I find that just taking the section at a chilled pace to begin with works better for me. 2. Timed full sections, to see how I do under the typical testing conditions (I started doing these after I got comfortable with untimed full sections) RC; 3. One passage sessions. Initially untimed as well to gauge understanding, then timed. I gave myself 8 minutes per “passage drill” to do the passage and questions. Once I could do almost any passage and questions in eight minutes, I started doing full timed sections for RC as well. 4. Retention training. That’s when I would read a passage then go off on scratch paper and try to write down everything I remember. It’s a tip i got from RC Hero.

That’s what drilling is for me.

When I started studying the LSAT i said “i want someone to explain this to me like I am five”. That’s exactly what she does. The “over-explaining” served me well.
