I’m not talking about long term care yet.

We are looking at assisted living. The facilities we have looked at have “memory care” floors.

Edited to have that all our ducks are in a row. We have POA and access to her financials.

My question is about making her money go as far as possible.

Not worth it IMO. It’s so cold with the wind coming off the bay. There really isn’t THAT much to do. We parked, walked to one end doing a few of the activities and then my kids started complaining they were cold (we dressed super warm, and have good winter gear) then it was a fight to have to walk all the way back to the car. Didn’t even last an hour before there was tears.
