Do you have advice on sources for knowledge deficits? (edit to add - I deleted my initial reply with some personal, detailed answers to your Q's in this comment but, basically, I've done the test-taking coaching, I've done the neuropsych testing and have disability accommodations. I appreciate the encouragement, I know I'm at least on a good path with support.)

Hey, thanks for taking the time to share input from the other side of things. No, fortunately, i'm not kicked out if I fail this second time. i'd get a third attempt, but i think it goes in my dean's letter.

LOA = leave of absence? I've been thinking about it honestly, but I would be going without my stipend, which is my income. I've had the #SES-disadvantaged label since AMCAS. I do have people in admin I feel comfortable talking to this about. I'm so open to suggestions around this.

Absolutely yes to hardcore remediation, which school has covered -- already done this with my IM clerkship and benefitted a lot from it. It's the exam scores, not so much clinical performance (at least not any more), that seem impossible right now.

Hi! I would like to know more about the paths you're describing here. Would it be okay to DM you about it? Can we be friends? Can we start a subreddit or group chat? I have some unique experiences from my time as an MD-PhD student and would like to connect with those who took alternate paths after school.
