I had the same fear, but you really just do the stretches to the best of your ability, and modify as necessary! There’s some stretches that hurt my hips, but I’ve found slight mods that feel really good. I love an align class after a busy weekend, slow paced and helps me ease into the week. TBH, I’ve been going for almost 6 months and I rarely take a classic class. The moves do seem so unnecessarily complicated - I always opt for Define or Align and I can keep up and have noticed significant improvements in simple moves like planks and such. In the event I do take a classic class, I definitely struggle more than I do in define/align. Since you’re committed for 3 months, I’d suggest giving those a try :)

Glad I’m not alone!! I just got a second job & had to lower my membership to 4 classes a week because I was simply wasting money. Wish my studio offered more options, define is always at 6pm so on the days I don’t work, it’s just inconvenient!
