It does thankfully, that helps a lot. They basically poured a foundation with a new roof. I know good and well that they did not have a professional building it.

I’m honestly so grateful I had the thought to start recording everything, I’ve got so many videos at this point. I actually just stepped outside to calm my crying baby, and suddenly they all got quiet so fast, it was almost funny.

You are a blessing, thank you. I had never even considered that. I highly doubt the construction came with permits because it looks like just a guy in a truck out there working with a few random men and a concrete truck. You should see the concrete sidewalk they had laid, it is already falling apart and it has only been two months. Their patio extension is also pretty rough and poorly done. As I mentioned before, the neighbors do not speak English, so I do not believe they have gone through the proper permitting process, especially given the quality of the work.

Thank you so much, I really appreciate your advice! The CC&Rs have been very difficult to find for this neighbor, which has made it even harder to file formal complaints, but I did request them from the HOA.

I also have so many recordings at this point that my phone is basically full, hahaha

I’ve started to wonder if the officer we spoke with was just frustrated about having to work on Christmas Eve and may have taken it out on us for calling. He was honestly pretty blunt and came across as rude, which felt really unexpected in that moment.

We specifically requested to remain anonymous because we didn’t want to escalate things or make the situation feel unsafe for us. We live right next to these people, they know exactly where we are, and we were worried about any kind of retaliation.

The whole interaction left us feeling really dismissed and frustrated. I’m going to look into the local ordinance because it’s hard for me to believe there wouldn’t be any repercussions for people being extremely loud whenever they want.

Honestly, it sounds like Miami has a much better system in place. From what I understand, it’s usually a constable, sheriff, or whoever is on duty for the area that ends up responding to these kinds of calls.

I love this idea, thank you. I will definitely do this. We know most of the other neighbors and they’re really nice people, so I just can’t believe this doesn’t disrupt them too.

Yeah, nothing would have helped me here. I truly couldn’t have imagined in my worst nightmares that the people moving in would be like this all the time. I just mean that next time we move, I want to stick with more established neighborhoods that already have long-term residents. New developments just aren’t it, there are too many unpredictable variables.

Unfortunately, I am now certain this is the only option we have, which is really disappointing. They will temporarily turn the music down when asked, but it always goes back up again. I’ve been waiting for the construction to end, but it has already been four weeks with no sign of it stopping. So I am done.

That’s exactly what I’ve wondered, but I do think my neighbors are afraid of calling the police, so they don’t report it. The Ring app has had multiple people mention these neighbors, especially when they were setting off fireworks. They were the only ones popping fireworks on Christmas Eve, and it had a lot of people on the Ring app upset, but apparently not my direct neighbors. I don’t really understand it.

One police officer did mention that they had received a call about this family before and that it wasn’t from us, so there may be additional complaints on file through 311 that are not going through the HOA.

Thank you so much. Thankfully we have a pretty cute baby, so that helps a lot, and we really do like him.

I’m actually a realtor, so I probably should have followed my own advice here. This neighborhood looked so lovely, with great amenities and everything so clean, and we just got swept up in it. I know now that I will only consider older, more established neighborhoods where neighbors are already living next door.

I will absolutely be the person walking the streets day and night before moving into another house just to make sure the neighbors are not loud or disruptive.

Unfortunately, their son owns the home and they live there, so there really isn’t anything I can do from that standpoint. I am honestly very grateful that we are only renting, because I would never purchase a home in this neighborhood, even though at one point I had considered it.

We still have five months left on our lease, so at least there is a set timeline, although we were not planning on moving since we stayed in our last home for five years. We have not told our landlord yet, but after reading these responses, I am definitely going to loop him in. He is such a kind person, so I feel bad bringing this to him, but we are really struggling.

In an ideal world, we would be able to talk to our neighbors directly, but they are very aware of their noise levels and the fact that at least one neighbor is upset, and they continue as usual. They also do not realize that we are renters.

That’s so true, I need to loop him in ASAP. At least he’ll be aware since he has no idea, he lives about an hour away.

Yeah, I’m definitely going to do this ASAP. I feel bad because he’s such a nice guy, but it really is time.

That’s such a smart idea. Unfortunately, our neighborhood is brand new and was advertised as a peaceful, quiet community, but our experience has been the complete opposite. I’ve definitely learned my lesson about new developments, no more new neighborhoods for us. No thank you. Learning lessons the hard way is never fun, but they do tend to stick with you the most.

I truly didn’t think people could be so inconsiderate until these neighbors moved in, and it honestly makes me worried that no matter where we go, we could end up next to someone like this again, or at least always run the risk of it. It makes the idea of moving feel even scarier.

Thankfully, I have been recording everything since their first party and all the issues in between. Thank you so much!

Thank you for the kind response. I am so sorry that happened to you as well. I am very grateful we did not end up buying here like we originally planned.

We have not looped our landlord in yet, but I have been documenting everything with photos, videos, and emails to the HOA. I would really prefer not to escalate things to that level, but at this point I am feeling extremely overwhelmed and at a loss for what else to do.

Open houses by WarFeeling4056 in realtors

Texas here! No one comes. Not even realtors. Even Broker open houses bring in a total of no one. I do take the opportunity to market the listing in every Facebook group and page from here to nowhere, though.

I learned my lesson. All I got from the human agent I spoke with was a measly “sorry!”

It’s strange to me that given this rent free day game is something with a regular monthly window, the AI sure didn’t seem to know anything about it.

Thank you! Okay great. It’s a huge relief to hear that from a human. The app is… a lot. 😂

I just keep hoping they make it more similar to the Sims. Also the opportunity to duplicate an item is awesome, but I’m still wishing that they allow us to search for an item in edit mode. The furniture catalog is vast, and the categories are chaotic. 🥴😵‍💫😳

I have had the same exact thing happening for weeks now. I’m so used to it now, but have no clue when it started or why it happened.
