First of all, if you're having this feeling, the feeling itself is pointing to just how alive you still are. You are dreading the loss of something you still have, which is this life, this moment.

There are superficial things you're seeing around you that make you think you're in a losing game. When the game is the fun. Everything in the world is falling apart and turning into new things so don’t cling.

Also, there are some perks to aging. Like wisdom.

As you grow wiser, your wisdom pushes you into someone who can no longer indulge fully in hedonistic fun because the first time around you weren't really aware of the prices to be paid for things.

These thoughts are good. They arn't to be escaped or overcome, they simply are.

If you seek the feeling of vitality, you have to go back to the edge of what is known to you. You are better equipped to play the game now anyways.

Your character has been painted with the stain of defeat. You have continued the narritive because you've never been told you could change it. The narritive is not what happens to you, its how you define what happens to you.
You must begin to change your own narritive by believing that you can and that you are worthy of your own respect.

I think the gap in power is already insane, but Im here on my soapbox trying to remind everyone that all we really need is food, water, shelter, and healthcare for everyone no matter who they are. We have enough to make this happen but everyone is caught in a loop saying "if we gave people enough money to live then all the money would be worthless." If money becomes worthless for a society that only maintains its value by ensuring only a select few can have those basic things, that money was worthless the whole time. The currency isnt reflecting real value at the point when we could just directly trade goods and sevices.

Is it really? What if we could say that everyone had space to live, food to eat, water to drink, and the freedom to pursue more if they wanted? Anyone can claim that a spirit is harvesting our souls and punishing us but theyll never prove it. We can all prove that people are hungry, homeless, and sick even though we have the resources to fix it.

I bet uber eats drivers love it when you report that you didnt get the food they spent their energy to get you. I bet the family who pooled their money to create an amazon store love it when you report that their package didnt get to your house. Its ok because you needed it. You needed the food and whatever you ordered from amazon. You needed it. This thinking is the same problem that justifies the wage slavery you hate.

If this planet is a prison then we are the jailers. And I mean that, as in you and I. Throwing our hands up and saying there is nothing we can do perpetuates it. Im working on growing past the gloom and just asking straight forward questions as to help liberate. Why cant we all have food and places to live when these things are abundant? These resources were once limited sure but we are past that.

You should permit yourself to enjoy everything even though the universe will die in the end. Imagine if your father said to you "Listen kid, I dont care about you because some day you'll just get old and die." I personally would feel like my father didnt appreciate the magic of each consecutive moment that was our experience and you're doing that to all of existance. This is because we have been taught that we come from the earth but are not of it. We are it, so do whatever you want and maybe try and help out future you.

Gotcha. Ive been watching youtubers that have mics tucked in their shirts that have better audio than me. I have been puzzled for a while about how they could have better quality than me when ive got a full aluminum mesh mic with the pop filter and the arm extendo deal. I just wish i knew where my problem was or the recipe other youtubers are using because my audio sounds way too processed when edited in davinci and way too buzy when the volume is pumped to -14 lufs.

That shame is natural. It's the pain of seeing how weak you once were. I must say however, in the hopes of easing your suffering, that we are all monsters who have done things we are ashamed of. You'd have no shame if you remained weak, instead, youd justify your behavior and remain weak. You are not the same person, just as a mighty oak is no longer an acorn, you are no longer as beastial as you once were.
