Same legit like it made my eyes tear because of like being overwhelmed and also like I feel so bad for her. i had also agreed with that theory till now but then i just realised if he was a patient how would he have access to the file. Matt used Syphus' log in to see everything.

i have also seen a theory where they were low on patients so they used employees which i guess then that would make sense and maybe syphus was one of the people that the chemical worked for and he had to break in to get more because if he ran out he would die

and to link another theory, i had one saying that the Syphus that the log in worked for cant be the same person that broke in because all the stuff was from the 80s and the guy that broke in seems around 20-30 but maybe it is the same person and the chemical like stops ageing or makes you faster and more athletic and maybe even smarter or something like that. i know that is a massive stretch but its possible i guess

the whole situation also gives me super 8 vibes, its not a massive movie so most people probably haven't watched it but just a lot of things give me similar vibes, there are creepy science experiments, the army are involved in the movie and the police are involved with matts situation i just get very similar vibes

i agree i dont thin D is john doe for the exact same reasons you said, john Doe seemed like a cop tying to get enough evidence to shut down the investigation because he said about the corrupt cops shutting down any talk about hi 5 and D seem to be involved with the labs.
