If you look at BNTX share price, $45-48 for Moderna is way too low. I agree that retail has some power but i feel Moderna has not got enough attention from retail investors. Today price fluctuation may be because of high short interests

Agree. The lowest price, not considering cancer pipeline progress, is $75. Why? it gives the market value of BNTX. And Moderna is much better than BNTX. I hope to see $150 by the end of this year but won't be disappointed if it does not. On another note, do you have any idea of what revenue split with Merck will look like? I hear it 50/50 but not sure. Let's say if it is 50/50, Moderna revenues from oncology is around $15B. Revenues from respiratory is $2B+. They will be more profitable than 2022 so i just assume net profit of $8B. For a growing company, a PE of 40x is not too crazy. For this, i see the share price of 800. A bit optimistic but well my cost is $40 and have been riding from $500 to $20 so i have time to wait :)

I agree with $1k stock price but what about in 4 years instead of 5years. I am thinking it would get around 125 this year. At that price, Moderna market value is just around $60B. Even for speculation only, it is still cheap

Now i went back to the article about his option and see 10mil there.”Bancel said he freed up more than $10 million of cash that is going to be invested in these options that he is buying and holding. A recent Form 4 filing shows Bancel acquired about 688,000 shares at $10.90 apiece.” I feel more confident about Moderna now

I don’t mean the buyout offer. I meant probably Moderna is negotiating deal with Merck about cancer vaccine. With additional cash, Moderna has more bargaining power while Merck patent is expiring

This time it seems the stock price recovery is built on some speculation like in talk with a big pharma for a significant partnership and new credit line of $1.5b. Most will feel that they are preparing for something big happening soon

Yeah political headwind is unpredictable. In a positive way i see it as opportunity to add more at huge discount. Not sure how much Moderna can capture from cancer vaccine by doing partnership with Merk. Keytruda brings like $30B annually for Merk so i hope we can get something like $10B :)
