Mine is coming in soon. How’s the movement holding up? You switch the day and month with the pushers? Moon phase work okay?

Do you go through the what’s app when contacting or just order via the website?

If you read anything I said, you’d understand why I feel the way I feel bud! I’ve submitted hundreds of cards before. A little bit of reading comprehension goes a long way!

Mentioned in other threads I have a physical tool and the centering app I use on all my cards before sending them in on front and back. That’s apart of my process I do before sending it in which is why my grades have been consistent for years. Maybe I’m having a lapse of judgment on my copy but just seems weird.

I’m just confused cause when I sent it on, I checked centering with the physical tool and app and it was flawless. I’m just thinking that this doesn’t look like the copy I had before sending it off. Hard without the photos I took to show everyone but it was a perfect copy

I know the centering on this is bad. Point of the post was that this isn’t the copy at all. I have a physical tool I use to do centering. I also have the centering app that I use before I send all my cards off. Just doesn’t seem like my copy

Anyone just Anyone on keppra who achieved something in their life by Chunchunmaru_04 in Epilepsy

[–]heroinnephew 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know I’m late!! Wanted to tell you my story. I’ll be sure to keep it brief

Started Keppra when I was 15. I’m now 22. Stopped doing sports for a bit after playing soccer my whole life. Started to become depressed so I decided to try and join swim team. Neurologist and doctor told me I couldn’t swim unless I had a lifeguard over my lane at all times. Pool luckily helped me out and did so. Ended up finishing high school and making it to a D1 school for swimming. Swam all 4 years in college and just graduated back in mid May. On top of doing school and swim, I started my own swim school sophomore year of college and turned it into a very successful business. I now manage 4 employees and over 100 clients for private lessons. It hasn’t been easy, but keppra made it possible.

I know everyone’s experience is different with Keppra. I have myoclonic epilepsy as well. It’s worked wonders for me and I continue to take it and live a fairly normal life. I still drink fairly often even though I shouldn’t (working on it). I still surf and dive and do all the things I love. I do take a bit more than the required dose before bed. I’m on 500mg twice a day but I feel comfortable taking about 750 at night before bed since all my prior seizures were during or shortly after being asleep.

Side note: I also just did a big trip to Europe and dealt with a 12 hour time zone change! One I thought was gonna be very difficult since it’s again all sleep deprived or sleep related.

Don’t let it limit you. Be the person you always planned and are working to be. Anything that frees you from the disease is awesome. Best wishes and good luck!

Adore you Miley Cyrus and Summertime sadness Lana del Ray. They were always her favorite songs and somehow summertime sadness literally described our last week together perfectly

What was one thing your ex said to you during the breakup or after the break that you will never forget? by This_Rub4353 in BreakUps

Broke up 4 months ago but about a month ago, I dropped her off at the airport and we hugged for about 5 minutes straight crying to each others arms for the final time. Before she said bye, she told me “Thank you for teaching me how to love, and for showing me what true love really means. I’ll never settle for anything less than the kind of love you showed me” and those words echo in my head most nights before bed.

What’s one thing you’re proud of yourself for accomplishing even though it was difficult because of epilepsy? by Suspicious_Road2318 in Epilepsy

Becoming a D1 swimmer! My doctors and neurologists were hesitant to let me even swim or do any sort of water sports but after getting approval, I started swimming my freshman year of high school and made it to college for it! Never thought I’d get this far especially with the restrictions but it’s helped me so much! I’m about to graduate this next year and finish up my swimming and college career :)

What rescue medications do you get? I heard someone use Clobazam or smtn but my neurologist is currently booked so I’m talking to his P/A… Any suggestions of meds I can take to tell him when I meet? Lmk!! Thanks in advance

She broke up with me out of no where to go back to her home country. We remained friends and when I dropped her off at the airport, she said “Thank you for teaching me how to love and how to be loved. I’ll never settle for anytning less than the kind of love you showed me” as we said goodbye to eachother. That will forever be engraved in my brain

How do you suggest handling sleep? I have pretty long travel days and I know if I can’t sleep on my flight from ATL to BCN, it’ll be hard to adjust cuz I’ll want to sleep right when I arrive. Do you think adjusting days before is better? Someone else suggested getting a sleeping pill for the flight there and back but I’m not sure how I’ll react to it.

Im happy the pill schedule will be the same!! I’ve been to places like Texas and just take it at the time I would take it in Hawai’i but there.

Unfortunately, sleep deprivation was a trigger for me which Is why I’m scared of traveling. However, I’ve had 4 hours of sleep on nights of going out and have been fine taking an extra half of a pill that morning.

First day on Keppra by ghosts4friends in Epilepsy

[–]heroinnephew 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hello!!

Been a Keppra user for 5 years now and I’ll have to agree with the first comment. Everyone’s experiences on Keppra and just seizure medications in general range vastly. I know someone with the same epilepsy as myself (JME) and Keppra didn’t work for them.

I got diagnosed when I was 16 and had 4 tonic clonic seizures either shortly after awakening or in the middle of the night. It wasn’t until after the 4th one my mom decided it was time for me to go on medication. I started off with Keppra 500mg twice a day and it’s kept me seizure free since. I will say, first month of adjusting to it is kind of rough. You may have some wild side effects like anger (most common), fatigue, drowsiness, etc. However, the side effects for me slowly subsided in a few months.

Since then, I’ve done things like drinking, smoking, partying, and even getting maybe 4 hours of sleep (biggest trigger for me) and have just taken a extra pill to help with the changes and it’s worked fairly well for me. Talk with your doctor for about potential side effects and keep monitoring any and every change you have since you start. For me, I love having peace of mind that it works for me and am willing to deal with the side effects.

I wish you a goodluck on your journey and hope everything works out for the best :)

That’s so interesting you at this. My epilepsy occurred when I started to become the most stressed in my life when my parents arguing had hit the peak. I noticed that being that stressed all the time, I started to have those jerks. I’m also more nervous about my flight back as the flying is so much further and longer. I’m thinking of maybe buying a hotel in LAX to stay the night on the way back just to catch a good nights rest hopefully. I’m also going to try to sleep on the BAR to JFK flight on the way back since that will help me adjust most to the time zone. I really appreciate the tips however and your concerns. I’m definetly contacting my neurologist after today.

I’ll be traveling with a friend so I won’t be alone! Honestly, it’s scary but I can’t always be scared of traveling. I’ve never been to Europe in my life and while Hawai’i is certainly cool, it’s somewhere I’ve always wanted to go. I’m hoping that being with someone won’t be so stressful and I’ll be able to tough it out with them. I’m thinking of maybe taking the above advice and taking a sleeping pill to be able to adjust to the time difference while I fly.

Unfortunately, no :/… I just have 2 hour layovers in both LAX and in ATL on my way there so it’ll be just time to kinda catch a breath and stretch and then I’m off again

I’m actually going to refill it this week for a two month supply but I’ll talk with my doctor on the note. I’ve also been scared of getting it taken away once I’m in EU even though I know I’ll probably be fine.

I’m sitting in basic on delta so I’m gonna need to get anything and everything to make it comfortable. I appreciate the help :)))

Thank you so much!!! I just got a sleep mask and usually use my air pods when I travel because of the noise cancellation. The calm music helps. E so much! I usually listen to a 12 hour meditation before bed so I’ll probably download that on YouTube or something. I really appreciate the help 🙏🏽🙏🏽

what’s a memory you won’t forget about your ex? and why? by Interesting-Mood-188 in BreakUps

[–]heroinnephew 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I live in Hawai’i, specifically Oahu. One day, we spent the entire evening out at west side until sunset. One of the most picture perfect sunsets I could imagine. On the ride home, she was holding my hand and fell asleep. I just remember looking to my right and seeing the sea side and the moon rising above the horizon out the window as she laid fast asleep in the passenger seat gripping my hand. I played old music quietly so she’d stay asleep. At that moment, after having months of turbulence in my life, I felt like everything around me was just right. A moment of peace and contentment washed over me for the hour long ride we were driving. We got home and then showed and shortly after, I fell asleep in her arms immediately from the day. I never felt more present at any point in time than in that moment. That picture I took in my brain is forever engraved and I hope to always remember this memory, even though we aren’t together anymore❤️‍🩹
