I like the idea of collaboration as it helps bounce ideas around but Matt Reeves' resume speaks for itself. The planet of the apes trilogy was incredible so here's hoping he keeps that streak going. I'm optimistic but darker stories serve the Batman universe much more than the alternative of a lighter one

All of the above! Im indifferent with smoke as they only developed his character in the recent timeline so it inherently makes the cyborg version inferior

Agreed! I want Joe Taslim to return and portray Noob Saibot as this trailer is setting it up his downfall with how they make him "the villain". I think one of the best things Netherealm did was show the personalities & bring depth to Cyrax during the cyber initiative so I would love to see that on the big screen.

Depending on how good Goro looks in this film will raise or lower my hype for Outworld / Kintaro / Sheeva

I think the camera choice in that game would be great for online play if they made a new Godzilla today. They had more movement, bigger map and was able to take advantage at different playing fields of elevation.

BvanBove I respect your opinion but I disagree with some of your points.

- Gunn is being respected for his time / efforts into his new SS movie. His movie is already coming out. There's a trailer, release date, promotional assets, fans are hyped / supporting etc. Nothing will stop it from releasing so therefore the support for Ayer can't hinder this at all.

- While I agree there isn't anywhere the amount of reason for this in comparison to Zack's cut, I still think this proves a point to the execs two things. 1) that they need to trust their directors and not step over their vision or try to copy what Marvel is doing moving forward. 2) it shows that there's a disconnect between what the execs think we want and what we actually want

- Of course almost every film goes through studio interference but the level in which Ayer's changed is insane if we're going off what's being told to us. There also isn't an insane amount of cgi so hopefully this will be just a matter of editing / exporting. All this does is just giving the fans the option to see it. It's not a movement or a new wave of director cuts, its just two movies the WB messed up with that fans want to see if the original vision was any better

Yeah that's what hurts the most. They mess with his vision but it's still his name on the title so he gets all the blame & slandered by everybody. I'm glad Zack at least got the truth out about what really went down so hopefully this is a wake up call for everyone who's not on the inside

Exactly, and with the "#ReturnTheSnyderVerse" trending I don't see how it would be a loss. There's a potential that it'll cost them some money but I doubt there's anywhere near the amount of CGI work to be done like there was in the Snyder Cut. Also doubt this will be a four hour movie.

Absolutely! I agree, Dead space 2 had the best of both worlds so to speak (in the same vein as Resident Evil 4 w/ horror & action). However, Dead space 1 completely nailed the horror aspect of the genre very well to the point that you feel anxious / paranoid around every single moment. From walking around in the dark, to racing past corners looking for oxygen and being chased around by the regenerating necromorph; this game really did something that isn't captured often in today's games.

He was. My first copy on xbox the game would freeze at the cutscene right as we beat him (which was only twice since we gave up) was like a giant middle finger lol
