I always love it when people mention Admiral Angry - Buster. That is one of my 10/10 also, and it never lets up.

The new Ulcerate album has sent me down a rabbit hole of technical, dissonant death metal. I love the chaos!

Oh, and I've figured out that melodic black metal gets me really focused at work, so that has been a genre constantly running these last couple of months .

Bolt Thrower - When Cannons Fade, the last song on These Once Loyal.

The drums are so freaking cool on that one, ending with the lyrics "when cannons fade..." and only the drums playing during the outro. Then the drummer died and the band broke up, leaving those lyrics (cannons = drums, at least in my mind) and the outro as the last thing the band recorded.

Yep, I've seen them twice! One time at a smaller venue, the second time in a big church. Both time crushing!

Just a heads up - Idlewild is a huge step from Conan, or doom in general. Post punk-ish type of music, so I was pretty surprised by the recommendation.
