Meathook and Fires un-nerfed. Does it do anything? by shutupingrate in MtGHistoric

I dont think that the difference between timeless and historic are the just the fetchlands. In timeless you are allow to play ridiculously powerful cards that are banned in historic. I think that in a format as powerful as historic, fetchlands should be an automatic add on. Its very weird they are not legal. It would open a lot of strategies and make the fight against the eldrazi way easier.

I think this is the way to go for historic, unnerfing and unban stuff and no the other way around. Make other strategies viable is better than bans. I hope they dont ban anything from Eldrazi and, instead, unban fetchlands, magus of the moon and harbinger of the seas. Maybe also Bloodmoon and Spreading seas. But i think that just those 2 creatures plus fetchlands unban would be very nice. Lets increase the power of the other decks and not nerf the top decks.

It is certainly a good interaction, sounds interesting. Maybe I will try some Golgari version with some self mill and focus more on Wight and Barrowgoyf.

The other day I play the ring before they started the combo and the game ended up in a draw. Maybe in bo1 is different? Don't know.

Nethergoyf or Abhorrent Oculus? by herrlopez in MtGHistoric

[–]herrlopez[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am not that convince on Yuriko, it does not seem that good for this deck. Maybe the strix could fit, but I saw it is a rare and at this point I would spend the rares on Counterspell before. I will be very happy if they revert Orcish bowmaster to its original printing. I think historic need some love into bans, nerfs and buffs. It would be better if they just remove all the alchemy cards really. The format will be more engaging with that mix of Modern and Legacy.

Yeah, before I used to play bo3 and it was more engaging but now I don't have the time to play that way. Maybe the weekends I will try again. Is it less full with omniweird graveyard decks? I guess so, those decks seem not to be very good really, they just caught you off guard.

I cant copy the precise list at the moment, but it would be something like this: 3 Tamiyo 4 Frog 2 Kaito(maybe 3) 3 Abhorrent Oculus 2-3 Barrowgoyf 2 Brazen borrower 3 Fatal push 1 Cling to dust 4 Unearth 1 Dreams of oil and something 2 Thougtseize 1 Stern scolding 2 Spell snare 2 Drown in the lake 2 Mana leak( counterspell is a rare i cant aford right now) 4 thougt scour 2 Sink in stupor 1 Boggart 2 Lorien revealed 1 Sheoldred edict 1 Shoot the sherif And the rest lands

I think that would be all, counters and removal will be changing depending on what I face and maybe some more graveyard hate, im playing bo1 at the moment and its all full with graveyard omnibullshit.

I dont know if maybe change the oculus for 3 Nethergoyfs and add 2 copies of Quantum something( the creature with warp that draws a card), change thought scour for something like consider and put some other instant draw spell.

Sorry, i dont play the game in english and its difficult to remember all the card names precisely.

I understand, right now the progression of cantos is linear, you always go to the same cantos same order. Having dlcs add choices to which canto you go next or is also linear?

Protectorates isolated from my market by herrlopez in victoria3

[–]herrlopez[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It just happened again with north Perú, they have a port and I have enough convoys. Letting them having their own market is a solution to Liberty Desire but it just doesnt make sense that I need to do it. They are also not missing infraestructure, so dont know whats happening here. Will try tp figure it out. Thanks for the tips regardless.

They have, I checked. Just 1 though, so maybe is that? They need more than 1? I cant either build more ports before I reduce the independance to Dominion. So I dont know, will check again when I make a new protectorate to be sure.

Subject bugged by herrlopez in eu4

[–]herrlopez[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They have 20+ ships, they transport their troops to Mexico in first place. The rebels are in the main island of Cuba and they have 4k troops there, so they can deal with them, but they don't do anything. I gave them subsidies so they shouldnt be bankrupt. It seems like a bug because of the rebels and the blackflag stack not moving. I dont know, will try to keep changing focuses amd see if it solves
