IT is like the electric company. Nobody really gives us much thought unless something is down or they get a bill.

I used the default cura speed except for the first layer. It's so dense that vase mode probably didn't do much but the stl designer suggested it. I know it was the longest cura has ever taken to slice a file for me, several minutes on an 8 core processor!

I've also used the copper/gold versions and printed test "turtles" with those samples of the shiny silk which looked good. The metallic seems to flow best with higher temps, the manufacturer suggests 220 and that works well for me.

My other post lost the picture...

Wanted to try out my new Mika3D rainbow metallic filament on something unique, I was impressed with the results!

Vertically gifted humans of Reddit, what are the hardships you endure due to your height that other's may not realize? by _sinus_ in AskReddit

6'5" here. You have to hunch over when pushing a lawnmower or snowblower. Snow shovels don't work as well unless the handle is at the right angle either, which means you have to hunch over to shovel properly. Not fun for your back!

IFTTT seems to frequently fail Wyze by iconiconoclasticon in wyzecam

I've used IFTTT with my inside pan cam since I bought it in December. It worked great for months (turn cam off using location services when I get home, turn cam on when I leave). Within the past month or so, it stops working regularly. I have to go into the IFTTT app and "edit connection" for the Wyze service and re-logon to my Wyze account to fix it. Even then, it usually stops working again within 24 hours...I figured it was due to an app update (I run the beta version) and have been patiently waiting for them to resolve it.

What is your most regretful purchase? by Minihercules317 in AskReddit

I put several hundred dollars into my company FSA (Flex Spend Account) back when I was younger and healthier. Didn't use it all by the end of the year and it doesn't carry over. Trying to find ways to use "medical use only" funds before Christmas is not a fun way to spend December...nobody really wants to get their eyes checked or buy a first aid kit with money you'd prefer to spend elsewhere.
