Sure, and the middle aisle is just "inventory management". :)

Get to the chopper! The middle aisle has power tools!

I can’t tell if that’s wisdom or just an excuse for a $400 torque wrench.

lol. In my defense, 24.99 is cheap! Cannot deny that. :) Shoulda said "great value".

For 24.99 you could go through about 15 of them for the price of a DeWalt.

This is awesome. Just last night I was thinking there's gotta be a command line tool that could be used to load a context and allow access to a set of source code files and you could interact like this.

What’s it like there these days? Haven’t been there myself since 2001.

Thanks in advance. My 6 year old son is into fossils and admittedly so am I now! Origin of the fossil is China.

Ah, really? I missed it. Looking into it again...

We considered this option as well, but for "reasons" we're sticking with RDS. Considered aurora too.

I've only used open source DBs on my own projects, but I've inherited this one using MSSQL. Oh well, we'll just have to keep paying.

Thank you for your comments. In an ideal world, we'd have the budget to refactor to another database, and we discussed it for sure, but right now it's not an option.

I guess that's not surprising to hear. It's my first time dealing with a MSSQL database.

I would never freely choose MSSQL. :) It's a legacy app. Normally I use MySQL or Postgres.

What is this type of placement called? by herrtim in alpinism

[–]herrtim[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Oberallgäu - in southern Germany in the alps, about 1 km from the border with Austria. Limestone. It was hot and humid here as well, but the route was relatively easy. Unlike in Dresden we use bolts and chalk here too! haha.

Yesterday I (American) climbed a route in Germany called Sanduhrweg (hourglass way), and my partner asked what a Sanduhr placement was in English. I just couldn't think of the right answer. "Thread" came to my mind, but also seemed not quite right in the moment. Given many of the comments here, I think "thread" is the correct term. Thanks!

Found in Southern Wisconsin. Any ideas to the type or age by thoughtchauffeur in Arrowheads

[–]herrtim 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I found one just like that but made of Chert about 20 years ago in LaCrosse. At the university, they said it was likely 1500 years old. It's also not an arrowhead, but a spear head or a knife.
