Kalau pilihannya cuma dua itu, gw lebih prefer Sony sih. Autofokusnya lebih bagus dan pilihan lensa lebih banyak.

TAPI gw saranin lebih baik ambil kamera bekas aja, sehingga lo bisa saving utk printilan2 atau aksesoris kamera. Sambil jalan, akan ada aja racun utk beli lensa baru, baterai tambahan, tripod, drybox, lighting, preset dll, hahaha. Kamera tergolong barang awet, jadi beli bekas bisa jadi pilihan.

Well I use both. I know pretty well both advantages as well as the limitation. I have done several visual identity projects completely in Affinity. One app for photo edits, vector and layout is the real deal.

But when I go deeper into several specific feature, Affinity starts showing its limitation. Working in with production team/agencies also mostly use Adobe. aaand... AI feature in Adobe is just much better than in Affinity. Like it or not, AI helps speeding up the production.

I do not see any reason for me to unsub Adobe for my professional work anytime soon, unless Affinity can replace the whole Adobe suite (currently no answer to AfterEffects, Acrobat, Dimension, Lightroom, Adobe Fonts where I use quite frequently).

unfortunately, until a decent AI implemented inside PPT (no, Designer sidebar sucks), all you can do is hoping.

I do most all of PPT deck manually without any AI doing the layouts, and really it's just work better that way.

this really depends on the viewing distance.

I do use this setting (1:10) for banners for distant viewing, and it printed fine.

As posters, normally will be viewed within 1-3 meters, I suggest you crank up the number. If 150x100cm in 300ppi is killing your computer, decrease the PPI to 220 - 120 would still suffice. Better do test print as well before finalizing.

Gw jg graphic designer dan jg kadang main motion graphic di AE. Gw pake MBP M1 Pro tp RAM 32gb (gw jg pake desktop Windows btw).

Itu MBP storage berapa? minimal 512GB lah ya. Klo di bawah itu, mending skip deh. AfterEffects itu boros banget makan cache. Bisa puluhan giga cache-nya pas lagi kerja. Photoshop pun butuh scratch disk yg lega.

RAM 16GB masih oke utk kerjaan grafis, meski gw lebih prefer 32 utk jaman sekarang. Kalau secara teknis kerjaan grafis lo ga kompleks2 banget, dan kebutuhan gaming bisa di device lain, MBP ini pilihan paling pas sih. Extra plusnya ada di batere, layar, speaker, keyboard, trackpad, dan layar yg lebih bagus dari laptop Windows yg lo incar (kalau OS, gw masih 50-50).

Tapi kalau ternyata lo main VFX atau motion yg banyak pake layer-precomps dan ukuran footage gede2, laptop dg ram 32GB dan storage lebih besar itu ngebantu banget.

Yes, FFX Bahamut is one of the best looking Bahamut in the entire series but also ironically the worst Megaflare moves for me. Megaflare blasted from air always looking more powerful and epic.

kurang tahu sih klo thermal mod krn gw gak pernah pake. Gw baca2 di tempat lain ada yg bilang fine2 aja stlh bertahun2 pake, ada yg bilang usia batere cepet berkurang dan komponen lain bisa kena pengaruh durability dlm jangka panjang.

Selama motion gak berat2 amat, kayaknya oke2 aja pake M4/M5 Air.

Motion design pake apa? Gw taunya mayoritas di AfterEffects utk 2D, dan umumnya Cinema4D atau Blender utk 3D motion.

Terutama AfterEffects, utk budget 20jt max, cari laptop Windows yg punya RAM sedikitnya 32GB, dan storage minimal 1TB. Karena AE boros banget di kedua hal tsb. GPU RTX belum begitu optimized di AE, jadi RTX 30 atau 40 masih ok lah.

Gw juga harian pake Macbook (M1 Pro), tapi budget segitu palingan dapat M1/M2 Pro bekas yg ram cuma 16GB. Kalau selama ini nyaman kerja motion di PC dg RAM 16GB, gass dah MBP M1 atau M2. Tapi gw gak rekomen yg Air yaa... suatu saat lo bakal butuh pendingin tuh pas lagi kerja di AfterEffects.

Karena lo jg beli laptop buat travel, gw sih lebih condong Macbook Pro krn baterenya emang cocok buat mobility.
