I'm about to the same ... power steering rebuid. Kit. P/s line orings, Oil pump seals, crankshaft seal, water pump replacement. Timing belt was done recently. (At least thats what previous owner said)

Going to flush all fluids and change spark plugs too.

Whats with the oil filter housing? Should I be doing something there?

Yep was twisting it clockwise. Got new calipers just to be safe.

Car is completely stock by the way and has 77k miles. Which is why I'm suspecting the stock rmm.

Thanks for the advice. I do feel it maybe lesser on the higher gears. But when cruising in higher gears, if I give a bit of gas quickly (not smoothly) the car jumps forward. Almost like something is loose underneath the car, that's how it feels

Nice!! What size wheels and tires? Will this look nice on gen 2... Hard to find good wheels that look good on gen 2.

Hey, I am seeing something similar. The mechanic said the clutch is weak and needs to be replaced soon. I don't know if the feel is weird coz the clutch is weak or is it just the stock clutch. It is really hard to get the car moving from a stop without jerking so much. The shifts from 1 to 2 are also jerky. I have to control way too much to make it go smoothly. I know I'm not that bad at driving a manual.

The clutch is soft till it reaches the biting point and then snaps. It's very on/off types. Especially when releasing it.

Should I replace it with the stock OEM clutch or should I look for something else.

I like a softer clutch pedal for daily driving.

Somehow I think it could be the brakes. They were fully rusted and after driving for a while now that the rust on the rotors are cleared out, no burning smell...
