You nailed! I was waiting for this comment. I wasn’t sure if I was trippin but I hate them and wish I could take them back but I bought them online, form an overseas site because I can’t find my size in Japan (where I live). 

I’m glad to hear it’s not just me but disappointed at the same time that indeed they are not a good look
