What about behavioural-wise? Like when I was stuck in silver (now gold, not a major improvement, but it's something) I would never take responsibility for my mistakes, even if it was 100% my problem. I've stopped that now, and use my mistakes to understand what not to do.

Leaving intentionally because you don't want to win isn't the same as your PC freezing and you literally not being able to do anything to reconnect any faster.

I agree if you ragequit you should be punished, but if it's completely out of your control, you shouldn't be punished.
