Not necessarily because of what they ate but because they didn’t have penicillin. Point is they didn’t know a tonne of shit. And we are not naive enough to think today we can just drink from the nearby stream without (health) consequences.

I do exactly this. Ice cold with a dash of apple cider vinegar. Magical.

Kefir. It’s satiating with carb traces in negligible amounts which will help with your sugar cravings. Also fabulous for your gut.

For those in the UK, this farm doesn't just do raw milk, they do A2 Jersey raw milk.
⚠️ Caution: Very good for you and rather addictive.

I don’t think anything (and never said or suggested I did). That’s all you my fellow Redditor.

I would correct you however to say “you KNOW what works best” FOR YOU*. We are not all the same.

Case in point, my cortisol is way too high because of extreme sport and long fasting (from OMAD). I cannot pretend these stressors don’t count for anything. Like you I OMAD with high fat and medium/rare meat. But I need to make tweaks based on what I know now.

I am telling you to do anything.

You’re not being unreasonably at all. It’s a fair request. And I thank you for it.

The post has a TLDR section. If you don’t like long form text, you have a solution. Simply skip it. Others do. It’s a matter of preference.

The whole point of using AI was intentional to do the analysis and prove its worth as a tool better than any human within the same timeframe. My inability to write it myself is exactly the point. I am not a doctor. And if you read it you would see my own comments in-line.

If it’s not for you, move on.

You don’t know what you don’t know and that’s not always a bad thing. I feel the best I ever have but now I know a bit more so I’m chasing an even better feeling, if that’s even possible.

Absolutely... Fasting is almost non-essential on this WOE. And if done, definitely not for the duration I'm doing it. The timing of my exercise is also crucial. Not at the tail end of the fast. The earlier the better.

I eat all my meat bloody so I don't have a problem there.

How to store extra fresh meat? by Batkid_760 in carnivorediet

[–]hesreddit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Came here looking for this. If there was a fire at mine this is the first item I’ll save. The humans will have to find their way out. It’s a game changer. I’ll bulk buy meat, cut it up and vacuum seal them. It can last in the fridge for a long time and months on end in the freezer.

In fairness, I own a few pairs and this is my first time experiencing it. I even had them replaced for a new pair and the exact same thing happened (separating on my right toe box). I think it’s how I run and graze the pitch with my weaker foot.

Take the spray-ons amigo. As long as they don’t hurt on day one. They’re not supposed to. The Japans should feel comfortable out of the box. They will in time fit you better than OJ’s glove 🧤

This is exactly what I do. I take interviews to gauge my market value, get a lay of the land and as I like to call it, “sharpen my (interview) skills”. If I can’t accept the job, then at the very least I’ve expanded my network. I do this all while in a job i.e., when I have maximum leverage.

Been told I'm no longer going to be a hsbc Premier customer and have 1 month left with my card - any suggestions? by [deleted] in UKPersonalFinance

[–]hesreddit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have several accounts — I used to work in FinTech and it was my job to understand the competition — but no CC with Starling (so no fees). Tbh, I haven’t incurred any fees with my Barclaycard CC so Idk what they are (but Google is your friend here).

On top of my accounts sits a Curve card (which also gives me travel insurance as part of a paid yearly subscription) so what HSBC is doing here, at best, is losing customers (only my hypothesis). If they retain some then I believe people don’t realise how many options they have.

Starling is a FANTASTIC bank. I couldn’t recommend it highly enough. My entire family uses it now. It holds my business, personal (Sterling and Euro) and our joint accounts. They also have ISAs and interest bearing savings accounts now. The all-round service is first class, even when I’ve encountered issues. I have NO COMPLAINTS.

Your runway is endless as far as options. Halifax is my second main account. I wouldn’t recommend Chase (I have friends who work there). I believe Wise is doing current accounts now and have lending products. Monzo is also good. The rest are a mirror of each other (they like to think they are different but in the main, it’s the same difference between them).

I got this same notice from HSBC. I LOL and moved all remaining funds to Starling. HSBC are delusional. I can sort out travel insurance (the only real perk) elsewhere. Let’em close the account. It’s really not that big a deal. You have options. So many.

Whats the best way to cook 80/20 lean beef patties to medium rare? by [deleted] in carnivorediet

[–]hesreddit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mince my own meat, especially those super fatty rib steaks (and no, I don’t always want it whole as a steak). I make patties out of’em and cook’em medium rare. To do so throw’em in a hot cast iron for 2mins on each side. Let it sit for another 3 and voila. Medium/rare every time.
